I'm excited to announce that I will be teaching a Woodworking Summer Camp as part of the Summer@Springs program with Indian Springs School!
There are three separate classes, each for a different age group:
- Session 1 (rising 4th-7th grades): June 2-6, 9:00-10:30am
- Session 2 (rising 8th-12th grades): June 9-13, 9:00-10:30am
- Session 3 (adults!): June 9-13, 3:00-4:30pm
I've already been doing lots of planning and work for the classes, and I think it's going to be a great time! If you are interested or know someone who might be interested, please send them the link above.
These camps are intended for beginners, though experienced woodworkers are more than welcome to join us. We'll focus on basic hand tools, which, when used properly, are completely safe and very fun to use. Students will create a small handful of projects which they'll be able to take home with them once finished.
